CAR LOUNGE

Child Safety Standards

Last updated: September 25, 2026 · Car Lounge is made by Hummus Development LLC.

Car Lounge has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everything on Car Lounge: posts, reels, comments, direct messages, group chats, meets, marketplace listings, garages and profiles.

If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number first.

1. Who Car Lounge is for

Car Lounge is for people 17 and older. Before anyone can post, they must confirm they are 17 or older and accept our community rules, and our Terms of Service apply to everyone. Car Lounge is not directed at children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 17, we delete it.

2. What is not allowed

Any of the following gets the content removed and the account permanently banned, with no warning:

3. How we keep it off Car Lounge

Automated screening can miss things, so reports from people matter.

4. How to report

In the app: tap the ··· menu on the post, comment, message, listing, garage or profile, tap Report, and choose Sexual content or Illegal activity. You can also block the account.

By email: write to dev.hummus@gmail.com with the subject "Child safety report". Tell us the account's handle and where you saw the content (for example, which post or chat). You don't need a Car Lounge account to report.

Do not screenshot, download, save or forward sexual images of a minor, even to report them. Doing so can itself be a crime. Tell us where the content is and we'll find it.

Directly to the authorities: in the United States, report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678. Elsewhere, contact your local police or a hotline listed by INHOPE.

5. What we do
